  1. Pentax reviewed the SME Toolbox developed in 2007 which serves as a one-stop resource material developed to help build the capacity of both potential and existing entrepreneurs in the SME sector in Ghana and also to serve as a bank for essential business information. Pentax updated relevant sections of the SME Toolbox to ensure its relevance and data accuracy. The assignment was financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). November, 2015
  2. Designed and development of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework, Plan and Computerised database system for the Financial Sector Strategic Plan (FINSSP) (2005)-The project involved the designed and development of an “M&E Framework” together with an efficient Computerized Database System for its operations in Ghana.
  3. Pentax implemented theMonitoring and Evaluation Framework and development of Capacity Building Plan for the Social Investment Portfolio of Tullow Ghana Ltd (TLG).
  4. Development of Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy/System to Track the Output, Outcome and Impact of the Urban Poverty Reduction Project (UPRP) in 2008- The assignment involved the provision of technical backstopping for Social Investment Fund (SIF) to enhance an effective monitoring and evaluation system both at the project and the local level to track the target indicators specified in the Results Based Logical Framework of the Project Appraisal Report.
  5. Research On Good Practices And Experiences of SMEs In The Manufacturing Sector in Ghana for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)- The project was about the undertaking of surveys to identify good and successful SMEs in the manufacturing sector with particular emphasis on the wood processing, food/agro processing, garment/textile and metal processing sub-sectors.
  6. Micro Enterprises (PSME) and Reintegration of Ghanaian Returnees Demand for and Use of Business Development Services (BDS) and Financial Market Study for the International Organization for Migration (I.O.M)- Pentax undertook a survey on SMEs demand for and use of Business Development Services (BDS). The project further identified the capacity building needs of the BDS providers and provided a layout of new forms of co-operation with BDS providers in the context of a market stimulation approach.
  7. Monitoring & Evaluation Programme for Promoting Partnership with Traditional Authorities Project (Asanteman PPTAP) (2005)- The project was aWorld Bank pilot sponsored project to support Traditional Authorities in the development of their oversight communities. Consultants created a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and planned Computer-based Management Information Systems.
  8. An Independent Nationwide Survey on the Cheque Clearing Cycle in Ghana for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning funded by the WORLD BANK in 2002- The project involved the conduct of an independent nationwide survey of government departments and agencies, industry and individuals on average cheque clearing time in the year 2002 for local cheques.
  9. Impact Evaluation of Feeder Roads on Market Prices under the Transportation component of United States sponsored Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) Project in Ghana in 2009- This project was implemented in partnership with National Opinion Research Center (NORC) of theUnited States.
  10. Questionnaire Survey on “The Study on the promotion and Development of Local Industries in the Ghana forUNICO International Corporation Japan.
  11. Training Needs Assessment and Research on forty (40) Rural Community Banks (RCBs) in Ghana forARB Apex Bank.
  12. Capacity Building and Technical Assistance in Monitoring and Reporting of Implementing Entities of Millennium Development Authority (MiDA)- The key objective of this assignment was to provide Monitoring and Reporting (M&R) Capacity Building and Technical Assistance (TA) services to MiDA’s Implementing Entities (IEs).
  13. Technical Assistance for theMonitoring of Regional Indicative Programme (RIP)in West Africa for theECOWAS Secretariat.

Specialized Consulting Services to Enhance Access of Women Micro Entrepreneurs to Financial and Non-Financial Services for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection- The focus of the project is to sustain poverty alleviation among women at both National and Local levels through: (a) Institutional capacity building for enhancing gender mainstreaming into national planning, monitoring and evaluation; and (b) Improvement of targeted women’s gainful employment and entrepreneurship 2012.
